Bristol's drivers have shown their fury with new 20 mph speed limits by staging a series of massive "go slow" protests.
The protests, which are timed to coincide with rush hour traffic, appear to be trying to show what Bristol would be like if all traffic was restricted to 20 mph or less.
Since their introduction in [need to look this up], Bristol's 20 mph zones have been condemned by many, including taxi drivers, shouty berks on Twitter, and misquoted academics.
"It's ridiculous." said one. "What are we supposed to do if the roads are suddenly miraculously clear - say, in a zombie apocalypse, or if someone invents the hovercar - yet we are still expected to only drive at 20 mph?"
